About Francis-Philip

I am a minor Catholic Christian theologian – a graduate of the ever-faithful and orthodox Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College.  I grew up in Alabama and Mississippi as an Episcopalian, served with integrity in but did not retire from the military, got married and converted later in life to Catholicism.  At the invitation of my wife to join the Church, and because God converted me through His powerful Grace and Mercy, I am very much closer now to the Lord God and His holy family than I have ever been in my life.

  1. Yay! liked your post!

    • Ooooh. I don’t know. πŸ™‚ Maybe. I usually don’t write until I’m inspired to write. So, you might have to be a little patient.

  2. My wife went to Christendom! Small world. Actually I went there for one semester then moved on to other things. Then she and I met again 10 years later and got married.

  3. Beautiful

  4. Francis, The Archdiocese of Denver had a negative finding on Charlie Johnston:

  5. Good morning, β€œK”. I think that it is good medicine to learn the full history of the Catholic Church and its dogma and doctrine in the light os Scriptural teaching before making conclusions about current events and actions. Also, when we are feeling disaffected, we need to first determine whether that feeling might be psychological or spiritual. At this time of year, depression affects many. Fr. Weinandy should not have gone public for several reasons, but the main one is that his points were weak and have brought doubt to his credibility (he hurt himself).

  6. I have a question for you, a former Anglican catholic: do you find it odd that there are Franciscan monks and nuns in Episcopalian and Anglican churches?
